Dutch universities offer the largest number of English-taught programs in continental Europe. About 2,000 programs are taught entirely in English. The quality of Dutch higher education is well-recognized. The tuition fees and cost of living are considerably lower than in English-speaking countries. Holland’s many international students come from more than 160 different countries.
Dutch society is diverse and inclusive, it is strongly connected to other cultures, the business community, and the world. The Dutch are open-minded and direct, so it is easy to meet them and exchange ideas. Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BSc, BEng): 3-4 years. Masters Degree (MA, MSc, MEng): 1-2 years. PhD: 4 years. Employment
Depending on their nationality, students may work for up to 16 hours a week with a work permit from their employer. Foreign students (non-EU/EEA/Swiss) with a valid residence permit are allowed to undertake paid full-time work in June, July, and August, or part-time work of no more than sixteen hours a week outside of the summer period.
International graduates can apply for an orientation year. This is a residence permit of one year to find a job or start a business within three years of graduation.
