Employment
With a student visa for Italy, you are only allowed to work part-time. Meaning, for a maximum of 20 hours per week and 1,040 hours per year. Also, once your studies are finished, you can apply to convert your residence permit from a students’ to a work permit. Provided you are graduating at a Master’s level or above, you’ll be able to remain in Italy for up to 12 months to look for a job.
